tools that rock

I just bought a Rehau un-coiler today after getting fed up with my Wirsbo model. $650.00 and money well spent. This bad boy will never bind or break. It is bulky but I am willing to wheel it around.

Ever seen "Office Space?" Know the scene where they destroyed the printer they despised so much with baseball bats? Ya, my crew had a good time with the Wirsbo un-coiler!!

I bought the wirsbo uncoiler and have never liked it. I started shoping for a new uncoiler and found the tools that rock uncoiler. before I spend $480 is it all I have been dreaming of. Is there another brand thats good and dosent cost twice what the wirsbo model costs?

    I want the batt

I remember when I first bought it thinking this thing cost $250 I should have just made one out of wood and kept the change. one thing i think is great is we have never had more than 1000' of 3/4 pex on the thing at once but the directions say it can hold two thousand foot rolls. It bent two weeks after i bought it. thanks for the reply I am looking for the uncoiler you mentioned right now.

Maybe we can pass the bat around and everyone who used it on their wirsbo un-coiler can sign it. I bet we can get alot of signatures!

we have 2 full size tubing wheels made by heatlink which perform flawlessly but they are rather bulky so we thought we'd try out the rock un roller. its been great so far, it folds up unbelievably compact, a big plus for a van already bursting at the seams. i think the only negatives are the stays that fold up to center the middle of the roll tend to chafe the pipe, we just put 4 pieces of 1" pipe insulation over them. also, said stays tend to fall down when loading a new roll on, kinda irritating, but all in all a great compact wheel.

also, heatlink makes a new cheaper wheel which i haven't used, only seen it. it looks kind of like the wirsbo one though.

if you want a really quality wheel check out the original heatlink one, while bulky, it performs without a hitch. our oldest is 12 years and still kickin.

    rock un roller

We have been using it for about a year now, my only compaint is that it pretty heavy. Once it is folded up in the case it manageable though. Once you put the coil on you can forget about it.
