    mechanical fittings for steam

    I have a 2.5" sch. 40 steam main in a difficult location to weld. The pipe is leaking. I'm looking for a mechanical coupling or adapter rated for steam to get to NPT. Does this fitting exist? Victaulic said their fittings are not rated for steam. Thank you for your anticipated help. John Phillips
