    I'm now a Grandpa two (2)!

    I too became a Grandpa this morning but twice! My daughter Jennifer and Son-in-Law Ilija had their twins this morning. The girl (Mia Isabella on right) and boy (Alexander on left) weighed in at 6 lb 10 oz and 6 lb 4 oz respectfully. Both Grandkids are more than happy to show off their proud parents in the attached picture. Everyone is healthy and doing fine. Lynn and I will be heading out to western NY to visit on Thursday. I'll be away for several days and may or may not see any messages while we're gone. It don't get any better than this!

    What a happy family- mom looks particularly well, smiling and relaxed given the double-header- what joy!

    Too bad that those Burnham blue caps do not come in their sizes... :)

    Thanks Brad!

    I was amazed at how good Mom looked when my son sent me the picture earlier. The wonder of C-Section births. She couldn't deliver naturally because they were in a "T" huddle in the Ultrasounds. I just got off the phone with her and she is feeling great. Both babies are eating and sleeping very well. Too bad the caps aren't "Sherpa Blue" though!

    Twins are a blast and you'll find that they truly share a bond not found among normal (if there is such a thing as normal) siblings. Our first baby turned out to be identical twins, which we had no knowledge of until the doctor said, "I think we have another one in here". I will never forget that moment as long as I live. Several times when both were away at college, 600 miles from each other, we would receive the identical holiday or birthday card from both girls. I happened way too many times to be a coincidence. Keep an eye on them, they grow up quick.
