Looks great. At least the new owners did it right the first time.

I like Vitorange :-)

    Not Easy....

Every hydronic contractor I''ve ever met has their favorite "worst job scenario". I've seen so many "giboni" jobs over 36 years that it could fill a book.

This past week, we replaced a "giboni" nightmare, and had our share of problems making it all work. The original Lennox Complete Heat system, which was seven years old, has 2 air handlers, a FPHX for a soaking tub and an FPHX for 4 loops of radiant under the baths and kitchen. The radiant loops were supplied with barrier Pex and the returns were piped in non-barrier Pex. Go figure... The FPHX's were not isolated for cleaning, HW coils were not isolated for cleaning, Bang-Bang controls, you know the story.

The replacement is a Viessmann EC200 power vented boiler with a 53g V300 tank. The boiler was replaced by the Vitogas 50, but we found the original sitting on the shelf of a supplier, who was more than happy to make room in his warehouse. We needed a power vented appliance to deal with the limited vent options. Installed a Tekmar 256 and 150 setpoint control, and took some pics before we insulated.
The new owners of this waterfront home were most distressed to have to replace the system after 7 years of operation. They moved in 9 months ago. I think I've aged 5 years this week dealing with Owner's Remorse.
