Exterminator's Bad Day??

Went to call this afternoon, water leak. Exterminator has punctured the radiant heat tube in the slab. Observed two (2) holes approx 3/8" in steel tube. Found out it was steel when I cleaned the tube and checked it with a magnet.
Loop is isolated for now. Concrete around the damaged area has been removed about 12" square. Any thoughts on a proper repair? I thought of either cutting the section out and using slip couplings and welding inplace or cleaning the area with grinder and cleaning up the puncture and patch weld the spots. Is brazing an option?
Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.
