Steam Rad Replacement

I have a customer that would like to replace an old steam radiator with a baseboard (leaking and takes up too much space). I see slantfin makes a multi/pak 80 that is rated for steam; my question is will this work with a one pipe system? What do you do to the other end of the baseboard? Sorry for what may seem like dumb questions but we dont usually do steam only hot water. Thanks in advance for any help.

Not a good idea
the thermal behavior of that type of baseboard is so different from that of a cast-iron radiator that the room would be uncomfortable. Fin-tube baseboard goes cold immediately when the steam shuts off, while cast-iron holds its heat.
It is possible to use cast-iron Baseray baseboard on steam, but depending on the size of the original radiator you might need a lot of it. And you must run a return line to carry the condensate away.
Why not try to find a radiator that has a similar EDR to the one that's leaking, but is not as bulky?
Also- where is the radiator leaking? This could be a sign of an acid condensate problem......
