With that space music in the background, bouncing up and down as he spoke. Styrofoam ball head... My older sister Lisa and I used to howl at him in the 1960's....
Fantasmic Features was the show the little guy hosted.
Thanks for the memories! How could I forget.

B Movie Quiz Time
1. Name the Movie?
2. Name the Monster?
3. How Many btu's will he give off when burned?
*One of the all time bad/great B movies, I picked it up on Ebay*
Unbelievable dialog and who can't out run a tree...0 -
1) "From **** it Came".
2) Tabonga.
3) Slightly more than burning the DVD... Of course burning the thing might make more sense than sinking it in quick sand.

Mike
You are the b-movie man! Very good bad movie, loved the quicksand reference!
Rick0 -
Remembered the movie but had to look up the monster's name on the web.
One of my favorite bad sci-fi/horror movies is "The Atomic Brain". I occasionally work for a woman who greatly reminds me of the villain. At least she pays very well...

uh oh
I remember this movie. I think I saw it in the theater (they didnt have cable, vhs, or dvd's back then).

Is a good resource, isn't it?

Yep. I've found a LOT of the movies old movies (good and bad) that I remember from theaters and weekend TV, plus a lot that I'd never seen.
Recently bought a collection of "50 Chilling Classics" for $19.99 at Best Buy. "Classics" is really pushing it but there's actually quite a few decent ones among the truly awful and for 40¢ per title you can't beat the price. Some horror, some sci-fi, some thrillers, some slashers. Some are foreign releases, often cheap and thinly disguised Italian knock-offs of big American hits of their day.

oldies
I have a question since the first ones been answered.
In Snow White & the seven dwarfs,
Who is the mirror? (who's voice is it?)
I've watched it only 12 times in the last week (4 year old),
I'm convinced its Bella Lagosi(sp), but a friend who claims to know ALL things from Bella says no.
Any thoughts?

This movie was thought to have mind blowing special effects in the 50's0 -
And another quiz
What movie (bad) classic was this handsome fellow from?
*Answer...Flesh Gordon hahahaha0 -
Mike
How does "Bad Taste" stack up against "Dead Alive"?
Rick0 -
Definitely lower budget, but same flavor. Mix of gore and humor but decidedly less gore than "Dead Alive".
It's in the 50 Chilling Classics set. I suspect that transfer quality would be much better if available individually, but this one isn't bad. Audio is good, video decent.0 -
That's the bronze giant (for lack of a better name) from the "island of the Gods" in "Jason and the Argonauts" by Ray Harryhausen.0 -

You got me on that one. Almost positive I've seen and might even have. Thinking British...0 -
Good one Darin.
Now I'm too young to remember those '50's monsters.
But as a kid in the '70's I remember this dude, scary movie, still creeps me out.
Hint: this movie on DVD now goes for a few hundred bucks, now thats scary.
