Off road diesel is 500 ppm

On road diesel is mandated to be 15 ppm by sept 1

The boiler I am told by Viessman UK needs 500 ppm to condense in the flue. 50 ppm to condense ine the HX. Adjustment is made thru a thrree way valve,

This boiler has a lot of potential in the US oil market. Hangs on the wall like a picture, versatile venting etc

You can get lower sulfur fuel than that..

... I was running 45 PPM last winter. Made cleaning the boiler rather less stinky and hard on the eyes than dealing with sulfur dust.

The retailer is Ted Burke in Chelsea (Burke Oil), for those that are interested. The Vitoplus is good at 300PPM and below, so when the on-road diesel drops in sulfur content, we should be good to go. Yet, since there is no guarantee that a HO can be relied on to use low-sulfur fuel, I doubt that Viessmann will bring over the unit anytime soon.

Does anyone know of oil dealers selling low sulphur in Metro west????? I have clients ask all the time. There is a great oppertunity for somebody.
