Spent 3 1/2 hours chopping new hole in chimney...I guess, their way was faster and easier, huh? Ho though "the price was kinda high" to fix it. I came this close to laying a Mark Hunt on him (Sir, its a bargain compared to what funerals cost these days.....) 5 Hours later, he seemed to appreciate it. The scary part is that the "engineers" report said nothing about it...neither did the oil company who had seen it for the last 3 years (oops I forgot...they were there to service the oil burner...why look at anything else). The oil/steam boiler is an ancient Burnham that has not seen a soot brush or vac in years, low water cut off does not work, relief valve....not working, soot all over basement. I implored the homeowners that this boiler CANNOT run another second, and they gave me THAT look. I encouraged them to seek other opinions. Very frustrating when you see the train wreck coming and you get the blowoff. Mad Dog
