Family and friends are what a "long weekend" is all about.

Enjoy youself....If things go longer at the parade than you planned...don't worry. The WORK will ALWAYS be there...the kids are a different story.

I'm glad to hear that you're instilling the real reason for Memorial Day. Try as I may....most of my colleaugues just think it's a "day off". (if only THEY knew!)

    I will be laying the grid for my solar driveway - mostly solo - ALL weekend interrupted only be two other things: Today at Eisenhower Park they will be conducting a mock Marine Helicopter raid with rappelling and cool stuff for the kids enjoyment. Monday, as Always, The kids will be marching with their schoolin the Village Parade. Afteward we will have a lil bbq with our new nat gas BBQ, then its back to solar. Mad dog

    This afternoon, the jets flew directly over my house, on their way to the airshow at the beach (Fire Island?). Talk about shock and awe - that was some different scale of LOUD, out of nowhere!

    my wife and i were at the show. apart from the fun we were looking at guys and asking "does that guy look like a MADDOG!!!!!!!" to bad i don't have a face to go with a name. we will have to wait for the LI UGLY!
