I am looking for a one-in, two-pipe out, and yes, there are two circulators running.

info on diverter valves
I just read Dan's book on primary/secondary piping. I need help on finding and understanding diverter valves. This is for a radiant floor system - 140F in, 4 GPM total flow, 100F design @ 15F delta T. 3.1 GPM bypass (24,500 btu load)

Diverter or Mixing?
Typically, a diverter valve goes on the discharge (outlet) side of a circulator. One in-port, two out-ports. Thus applied, they cannot affect temperature unless another downstream circulator is involved.
A mixing valve is typically on the suction (inlet) side of a circulator, with two in-ports and one common out-port passing the mixed temperature.
ESBE (Danfoss), Tekmar, Oventrop, Viessmann and others all make or market such valves and have literature which will help you select them appropriately.0 -
