Cosmo, you said, if I am not mistaken:
<i>"I was surprised to see that is is getting just as worn as my Duct-ulator!"</i>
Air systems... I knew it! You have been sneaking a sip of the creature.... Well, the first step is behind you....shall we attempt an intervention on your behalf? :)

WONDERFUL TOOL!
I both use and refer to frequently.0 -
Buy It. Just Buy It.
For the price it is chock full of information and is in itself educational. Personally, I own two.
In your hand you hold abundant "what-if" scenarios... change the floor covering? Raise the temperature? Narrow the spacing? Assume a warmer or cooler room temperature? Each has the effect made clear.
Have an existing floor where you know the construction and spacing? Need to know it's potential performance? It is all there.0 -

I found it handy to show a homeowner how much output per sq ft is affected by floor covering r-values. I also use it on service calls for quick info.
Also great for quickly finding panel gpm to size circs.
I was surprised to see that it is getting just as worn as my Duct-ulator!
BUY IT!

okay Brad...put the beer down for a minute
I am not a recovering air-a-holic, I have just had the ductulator for ten years.....
We have always been a full service/installation Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractor
To tell you my HVAC political leanings... Yes when I look at a set of blueprints I first envision Hydronics!!!!!!
So, I am just another wethead. Yes, I also design and install ducted cooling systems. The last time I installed a furnace was 6 years ago, somehow I have always been able to upsell, or run away from Furnasty jobs.
Here I thought you knew me a little
Enjoy the Holiday, we are getting ready for my sister's engagement party tonight...... just another occasion for a bunch of Greeks to dance cause they are too drunk to walk!!

Even the
plastic protective jacket for it has some useful info. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to own one, or more, RadPads!
RTI had a larger slide rule type calculator that would do heat loss calcs and some sizing info. I think our old, seldom seen DVW designed it in his spare time Possibly a collectors item these days.
