Dawn Solar Performance

Because the "collector" is unglazed, its cold winter performance is apparently poor. Can't tell from their website if it's freeze protected somehow. Maybe it's just a great looking pool heater for Florida.

The Dawn Solar website lists the approved roofing materials, I don't think asphalt is on the list.

Investigated the dawn solar system for a customer, not capable of producing water temperatures more than 30 deg above ambient. Not real useful for heating in New England.
