Do you love toilet flushometer valves, does your supplier too?

But if they aren't furry and cute, I say flush them... oh, heck flush them anyways.

I just checked statesupply.com and they have the individual items I want; they aren't yet in the catalog I have.

This winter, I had spoken to SSC, then they only had the whole piston assembly replacement kit, not just a cup and main seat seal packet the way they do for the Royal flush. They didn't have what I wanted and now they do. SO1310 SO 1305. If it is only for me, I am mightily impressed.

I take it you don't see many things in the field other than the Royals?

By now I am near completely turned on by the Sloan GEM II, it is a piston type valve, with adjustable flow, like the Naval, but it has the exciting dual-filtering ring. SSC doesn't have it in their catalog, ahem... yet :)

Thanks to the Navy, we do flush the silly villains, and I get my Naval valves. It's a blessing. And thanks to all the other services too.

Thanks Gerry

    Flushometers, how exotic are yours?

At the supply house, I asked for repair parts for Sloan flushometer valves. So far so good, Joe at the counter shows me the shelf full of the items they stock, all Royal and Regal stuff but I want the Naval model (or the Crown, or the GEM). We look at the big Sloan poster they have, it's only the Royal. Now I'm sent over to the office where I get to talk to the person who knows all about these fittings.

They've not had anyone ever ask for Naval flushometer, and none of the local engineering firms ever specify them. Am I that special? All I wanted is a valve that can flush rocks and rust scale, the Naval type flushometers do that and I have one less problem to deal with. I have practically nothing but Naval ones and I used to get the spare rubber parts at a supplier now gone.

So, by now we're talking to the Sloan rep on the phone. The supply house doesn't either stock any of the new Royal devices such as the dual-filtered element, nor the uppercut two size flush selector (which is much advertised in trade magazines).

    Is the dual-filter really magic?

Which flush valve do you all prefer? Other brands? Ever heard of the Naval? Does your supply house have all the exotic repair parts?

It's a big world out there, thanks in advance.

hi Christian, how have you been?

state supply carries the parts..i get alot of my parts from them because they carry them and the local guys don't..www.statesupply.com and yes (being ex navy) i've known about the naval flushometer..if it can handle sea water with barnicles and such its a shoe in to be a superior flush valve for the silly villian world..wonder it never caught on..
