So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and with his family.
I can only hope that this sad news will make someone else work more carefully.

I just got word of an accident
that took the life of someone I have known. Bill Lennon was a town councillor for Alta, Utah and ran a small power plant there on Little Cottonwood Creek.
Sometime over Wednesday night he apparently was electrocuted as he was maintaining and checking out his plant. His wife found him near dawn on Thursday. They had no children.

I knew Bill by his being married to the sister of a long-time partner of mine. Bill was a decent guy, well rounded, athletic and just my age.
We often work with dangerous things, electricity being probably the most lethal yet least seen or understood. Yes accidents happen and probably too often to those most familiar.
So let us all take pause and renew our safety procedures, shall we? Take an extra few seconds to double and triple check things.
And as Dan says, hug your kids.0 -
Hate hearing these things
Amen to taking time to think safety first.

Prayers of support
We have a gift to give with the hugs!
Supper was being served after a long day. The phone rings a no heat call supper will wait.
Arive to find a lady in tears returning from her Husbands Funeral and the house was cold.
With heat restored and a friendly hug the friendship begun in grief will forever be with me.

And that, Terry
was the lift I needed.
Thank you and thank you all.0 -
Thanks, Larry- That was my hope too
for others to double-check the obvious and that things go awry in comfortable, ordinary cirucumstances. OSHA will be looking into this of course. It may run across your path as a case study. I wonder.
The loss is far more acute to his wife and to the small, close-knit Alta community. Thanks again-
Brad0
