I have seen info, talked to Viessmann contractors, and even viewed this boiler at many trade shows.
I have to say, after spending an hour really checking this machine out as I un packed it..
The workmanship and single purpose-ness design that went into this boiler is certainly something to be admired.
It's like every single piece was designed and refined to be exactly the best it could be. Reminds me of the BMW motorcycles I have owned over the years. Felt like an engineer or team was assigned to every piece on the bike.
Little things like the geared door operator on the front panel. The precision machine work on the assembly parts at the piping connections. Even the cardboard templete, and powder coated wall bracket.
I'd suggest Viessmann devise a way to get these in the hands of the contractors if they want to increase sales. Sales slicks, even trade shows with ratchet jawed sales and marketing suits towering over you won't get this message out.
I think most contractors are of the like mind set, that they want to see, feel, and touch a product. Especially one with this price tag.
I'd suggest they put 4 or so on tour! Ship them to contractors, possibly via the reps or dealers. Let them see, disassemble, chew on them for a while.
Or not :)
