Otis Steam Boiler

Would anyone have any specs on an Otis steam boiler, model 1930, circa 1920?
We looked at one today with our contractor and the building owner. It once was a coal burner, converted to fuel oil, then natural gas. The owner decided that a $12,000 gas bill (for 24 units) this winter was enough.
Any specs would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hydronic Rating Handbook, Pape Swift, and Beacon Boiler Reference. It's not in any of those.Retired and loving it.0 -

Otis
...crazy thought...Otis Elevator used steam for escalators back at the early part of the century. If they made the steam boiler...? As mentioned, from 1920, maybe time to update.0 -
Thanks for all of your efforts! We are definately going to replace this one this summer.
The reason for the request was to try to estimate the water that this boiler holds so we can apply a boiler feed pump with a properly sized tank to the job. The system now has two condensate pumps, one for each half of the building, then another in the boiler room.
Our proposed Burnham V1118 will hold about 25% of what we estimate this monster holds. We will loosely measure the water when we drain it down.0 -
Why not
change it back to gravity return? If it's that old it might have been a Vapor system......
