A Beer or a meal is so effected by where you are :)

I drank this in Dussledorf at ISH. Chris A brought me back a bottle from his trip..... aahhh memories ( or not ).

    mmmm beer

I had what I believe was called Spotted Cow Ale while in Wisconson a few weeks ago. That was truly great taste.
Of course as the night wore on I began calling it that moo cow juice....

    When

visiting Belgium, I fell in love with a "Trapist" beer called Chimay suposedly made in a Monastery by Trapist Monks. I havent been able to find it locally so I'm thinking of trying to make my own. Anyone have any experience doing this? (BTW at 9% alcohol content, Chimay is more filling) :P WW

    They sell it here!

I had a buddy who was really into the stuff a while ago. It tasted more like kind of a sparkling wine than what we normally consider beer. I really liked it but haven't had some in a long time. I haven't looked for it lately, but I would believe that most of the specialty beer distributors either have it or can get it.

Just so people know I don't drink Yuengling exclusively, it's just on of my favorites like Guinness, Red Seal Ale, Sam Adams, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc

    Belch...

    Wayne,

In my neck of the woods, here in Soho/Tribeca NYC, the local bars serve a lot of Belgian beer. The Yups quaff it a about $10- a glass!

Next time you're up, we'll get you first in line at the trough...

Or I can just send you a case!

    Hope all is well...
