Still having trouble? How long has this unit been in place? Is the WH on it's own circuit? It should be.Is it plugged into a GFCI? It should not be. What is the uA reading? Have you seen any other codes before the lock out (6) code?

Can anyone tell me what six blinks on the smartvalve on a OA Smith Power Shot water heater means. I have this intermitently.

Hello this maybe a problem with the unit trying to restart too much and locks out.

I recently had a very simular problem and with the manufactuers help diagnosed it as a defective pressure sensor in the blower unit. The sensor is not feild replacable and had to replace the entire blower unit. hope this helps.
