Criss Angel-Mindfreak, Google this guy, unbelievable levitations and other freakish stuff all while looking like the lead singer in a death-goth band. Makes Blaine & Copperfield's stuff look mundane.

I would rather see a rabbit out of a hat or the endless hankerchief than a guy in a box...

Although I am about as skeptical and cynical as they come.......

David Blane is really something else, huh? Trivia: What was HH's birth name. Mad Dog

    I was in London

a few years ago when David Blane stayed in the glass box next to the Millennium wheel for X amount of days and did not eat anything. I do not know what that was supposed to prove but it was funny watching all the London street punks throwing garbage up at him. His magic tricks border on supernatural.

March 24, 1874 (like it's hard to find on the web...)

His illusions almost make me believe in magic and his stunts almost make me believe he's tapped into an undescribed energy force... Hmmm. Maybe he'd understand why my Vito-driven radiators are so darned cool.

Not hard to find on web

But just happened to watch a story on the History Channel this week, does anyone know where he got the name Harry Houdini from??

    Harry Houdini's name origin

Erich Weiss was reading a book about Robert Houdin the French magician. When he told a friend about it his friend said that by adding an i to the end of Houdin in French would mean "like Houdin" = Houdini
His first name Erich was shortened by his mother to Erri and in the U.S.A. it sounds like Harry= Harry Houdini

I saw the History Channel video also.

    Seriously

Was that magic? An Illusion? Just a bunch of horse hockey. Who's paying this guy? I want to see an elephant jump out of a matchbox or someone swallow their own head. Dazzle me, don't sit in a bubble and expect me to watch. What ever happened to magic? Doug Henning, The Pendragons, Criss Angel, Copperfield, now that's a show... I sit at a desk 3 days a week! Where's my TV show?

    Don't Get It

I just don't see the appeal. Sitting in a box and not eating? Floating in a pool of water? Standing on a platform up high? It wouldn't be fun, but it seems like almost anyone could that. (Except for the breath-holding for 7 minutes, but that's not super-human or anything.)
