Yeah but...

Interesting find Dave. The one claim that caught my eye would be the ability to kill bacteria. This little device connected to the circulation return on DHW systems could be an answer to CAP and Legionalla... IF it works as advertised.

I'm always leary of the wording found in sales brochures. Especially in a product that makes claims without showing any data to back it up. A btu is still a btu, and if you're heating it with electricity, it still requires watts, and you can only get so many watts through a wire of a given size.

Time wil tell. I have also heard they have a microwave clothes dryer that will be hitting the market too...

Color me skeptical :-)

So, I contacted the manufacturer and got a very lengthy reply - in French! (And English too - thank you)

Must be one bodacious micro-waver emitter in there. My home model takes two minutes just to boil one cup of water(G).

Sounds like a lead-in for a Red Green episode(G). I can see him stringing a line of microwaves together with duct tape (the handyman's secret weapon) in my minds eye(G). Hey, come to think of it, he's from Canada too. Humnnnnn.......

"If women don't find you handsome, they ouught to at least find you handy!" Barba turned me into a Red Green addict & with TIVO at home, every time he's on it gets recorded.

Every time the show's on and I chant along with the lodge brothers, Lois gives me that look that says volumes(G).

"Remember, we're all in this together." That's how Tim Russert finished his show last night here in York at the Strand-Capitol theater. He must be a Red Green fan too!

Gotta love Red Green !

The Possum Lodge has had its memorable moments, to be sure. The neighbors in Port Asbestos are always on the losing end of their follies.

Used to be a great Friday late night lineup here from the N.H. PBS station. Red Green, Red Dwarf and To the Manor Born. I really wish they would bring back Monty Python, but 25 years was a long time ago and the kids just wouldn't get it !Chris

my 12 & 14 year old boys love Monty Python! They've rented the movies AND the episodes!

I was amazed to learn the the Red Green Show was on the air for 15 years and "put in the can" 300 episodes. The CBC still has not answered my queries as to why it was taken off the air!
