loops
using Quik Trac, you don't have much choice as to loops. The first loop is 3 1/2" off the wall and then they are 7" apart...figure the total length allowing 8" for each return bend and then divide equally for the number of loops, keeping the lengths as equal as possible and around 200' each. Assuming you had a heat calc done, the Wirsbo take off should give you the exact #of loops and the lengths of each, along with the required delivery temp and circ selection...DON'T GUESS AT IT...do it right

you don't know unless you know your heat load and how much flow you're going to need in total. More flow = shorter loops. and if you don't know the heat load, then you're guessing as to how the radiant is going to perform in the first place, and that's one expensive guess with quik trak.0 -

design steps
You have to start at Noon and going clockwise work your way through the 12 step program. No daylight savings to radiant design...each step builds from the first...the final answer is correct when you get the first 11 steps right. Tick tick...0
