Refurbish of Hot Water Radiators
Chuck Congdon
Member Posts: 1
I'm looking for a company that cleans, tests and powdercoats hot water radiators. I have a 1929 Tudor with lots of radiators.
The home is in South Jersey (Mullica Hill)
any help would be appreciated.

CI rad painting
Most coating companies will only sandblast and paint the radiators. Powder coating is still done, but high temp paints have largely replaced powder coating, at least in Seattle. There are an abundance of these companies near marine fleets.
Usually the plumber or heating contractor will deliver the radiators to the refinishing shop. The radiators have been previously pressure tested and the radiator bushings & air vent tapping plugged.
The finished radiators are delivered to the jobsite, with extreme care not to damage the finished product.
Restoration plumbers or heating techs usually coordinate this. Often a general contractor will include radiator restoration on his billings.
