MZ Boiler vs Rinnai

We've installed six of them and (knock on wood), they are all running fine; flawless.

The Rinnai is a LOT cheaper, but it's a water heater, not really meant for hydronic and it's not high efficiency. You would also have to use a high-head pump for proper flow through the heat exchanger which makes it less efficient.

    MZ Boiler vs Rinnai

I had to condemn a Hydropulse boiler today. Water is leaking into the combustion chamber (older model with the "bolted" section versus the newer units that are welded. This particular Hydropulse also heats Domestic h/w via a storage tank. I'm thinking of using a Rinnai wall-hung boiler to do both jobs but the customer is quizzing me on these MZ Boilers which I have never seen before.
ANY recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    By far

the MZ is a much more quality unit than the Rinnai, in my opinion. I have had a MZ in my shop, with a small flash DHW heater, it has performed flawlessly. A true condensing heater built with solid components. A great track record, with excellent support.

The Rinnai is pretty much an instantanous water heater, I believe. Different animal altogether.
