Cold top floor radiators
The third floor of my house has three hip-high radiators that are cold. The system is a hot water system, not a steam heat system. It is a gravity system, with no pump. I tried bleeding air out. When I did this, I heard air escape, but NO water followed. I drained the expansion tank as well. I had heat in these rooms last year. Can anyone give me some pointers as to what to do to get the hot water up to the third floor? Please be specific and do not assume that I know more than what I have just told you. Thanks.
There is no pressure gauge that I can find. I'll add water to the system to see if it makes its way up. I can only hope it is this simple.0 -
The air you heard may have been air sucking in...bump up the pressure then try bleeding.
