    How would a homeowner measure radiatrs for EDR calc? I,m trying to research what I will need prior to getting estimates to replace old steam heat boiler.

    Dan has a book on this site you can order to get the EDR of most rediators. If you go on the Burnham web site and find the "Tool Box" there will be a link to charts to size standard old cast iron and thin radiators. I think the link is called Sizing Obsolete Radiation. Don't have the link here at work.

    Edit: I see that thefurnitureguy just gave you another link. I will compare that one to the Burnham one. Thanks.

    edr for \"obsolete \" radiators

    the colonial supply website was great- now I know that I have column and wall type radiators. Burnham allowed you to print a sizing fill-in chart.
