One Cold Baseboard

Thanks for the reply and Sorry if my follow up doesn't make sense . There is only one pump for the entire system , if that's what you mean by circulator and I'm unsure of how to check it ? It's always silent. Also not sure how to detect air in the system. It used to gurgle alot so I turned up the pressure until it stopped then reduced it. Thanks again...

    One Cold Baseboard

I have one zone on the first floor that runs from the dining room , to the kitchen then back accross the basement to the living room. The Dining room and living room boards are very warm , but the kitch is almost cold. I checked the supply and return to it in the basement and it's too hot to touch , yet in the kitchen it's cold and the baseboard feels barely luke warm. The room only had a small baseboard is this why it's not warm ? or is there anything else I can check ? Any advice would be great !! Thanks , evan

Sounds like you have no circulation

Evan first check that your circulator for that zone is running then if it is check for air that might be stopping the water moving

perhaps what you have is a monoflow system instead of a series loop system. There is no way the radiator in a series loop can be cold if both the header and the return at the boiler are hot. If you have a monoflow system there should be a way to bleed the air from that paticular baseboard, usually at one end or the other, but Ihave seen them located in the center of long runs.
