Crown - Wirsbo - Runtal...................hb

I started this small project up this AM. The owner bought this home a few years ago, gutted the inside and started to remodel. The system is controlled by a Wirsbo 311 (radiant, Runtals with TRVs and DHW) and these Freeports are a helluva little boiler. Jason did a great job with the piping!

Great Job, as usual
The combination of boiler on top and indirect on the bottom sure is a space-saver. I also like the clean lines of the primary loop, the use of unistruts to support it all, etc. The braided lines to the burner + the tigerloop also make the life of the service technician that much easier. Very thoughtful...0 -
Small project;
Gee, I'd hate to see a large one!:) Hey Heatboy , is that a Tigerloop w/ the filter?? Where did you get that, everyone has told me it isn't available in the US. Nice job Guys.0 -
Great install
and the Diamond Plate is the icing on the cake . Is that a special color Riello ? And what brand oil de-aerator is that ? Very nice work HB .0 -
Tiger Loop
This combination is an option through Viessmann. I use them on every install, since the quality of fuel oil these days is...............well, not very good. I only use double wall tanks and with the fuel lines coming from the top, it's the best option. It does a great job of pre-heating the fuel, also.
The Riello comes that color from Crown if you order it with the boiler.
Diamond plate. Can't do anything without it.

Heat Traps.
I put them in so the PEX mains won't heat up when heating the indirect (hopefully) since the primary pump runs during DHW production.There was an error rendering this rich post.

I don't know why but
I keep looking for the small block Chevy in that picture. Maybe it's the shiny diamondplate and no coffee yet...it's a beautiful job.
Is there an image gallery on HH? If not, hey Dan, could you make one? Lots of the pics that get posted here are too valuable to let scroll off into pictorial history, especially for newbies like me.
