steam lines for new baseboard

We have been cleaning up a mess left by a previous contractor. They added 4 baseboard radiators to a 2 pipe steam system. We had to repipe all of them to get the right pitch to get them to work.
There is one that is quite a ways from the system that we could not get enough fall. The only way I could get the return to have enough fall was to dump it into the wet return near the boiler. All other radiators in the house come into the dry return, they all have steam traps.
So how can I make this work? Do I need to add a vent to my return before it drops into the wet return?
