Main Vent Question

Could someone with the venting charts please tell me my venting needs. 1 Pipe Steam. Mains spilt in 2 directions 15 feet in one direction, 39 in the other. The mains are 2 1/2 inchs and the returns are 1 1/4. The Main vents are located at the end of the return(1/2 inch pipe) before it drops back to the boiler.
Also, how much will I save if I have my pro drill and tap the end of the mains instead of at the boiler.
Thanks,
Bob

Use
a Gorton #2 on the long main and a Gorton #1 on the short one. If you relocate the vents, the steam will reach them more quickly so they will close sooner, and you won't waste steam filling up the dry returns.0 -
