Ultra Piping question

should be sized to the flow rate it is required to move. If some secondaries can get enough BTUs with 3/4" pipe, really no reason to upsize.
What size Ultra do you have? The 80 and 105 can use a 1" primary loop. 155 and 230 1-1/4". The 310 1-1/2". That computes with the required flow, and is stated on page 15 of their installation manual.

Ultra Piping question
Is there any requirements or recommended size
for the Primary Secondary connection.
Piping off the boiler up to this point is 1 ¼ inch
and the secondary loop is 1 ¼ and 1 inch Thought I might use a 3/4 inch PS connection
Second item is on the length of the PS connection.
Instructions say 12 inch max how crucial is this,
is there any leeway0 -
By the book!
There can be no more than 12" between the T's and 1 1/4" is the best size for that connection.0
