Bryant 394-GAW - Looking for Parts Diagram
Where can I get the Bryant 394GAW parts diagram (with part numbers)? The local Bryant dealer said he doesn't have one.0 -

A fan motor mount
rubber bushing - there are six of them, I believe. They isolate the fan motor from the main chassis.
I am planning on removing the motor for oiling and the squirel cage for cleaning and want to replace the rubber bushings with new.
I would like to also find the parts manual to ease the id of parts in the future. Thank you. ..MS0 -

good luck
Unless the motor has been changed or its very old odds are there is no way to oil the motor. With how often Carrier/Bryant change part numbers not sure how much help a cut sheet would be in the future. Probably have better luck matching them up at a decent hvac supply house... thats if they need to be replaced.0 -
There are oiling instructions on the existing (probably original) motor. SAE 20, non-detergent, 15-25 drops, every 2 years... Seems like it is pretty straight forward on this furnace.
I just might end up having to bring the old bushings to a supply house, but I am surprised that a parts diagram or cut sheet is such a problem to find. I might be spoiled from my work with old MB cars and old Honda motorcycles (60s and 70s), where the parts book is where you start, assuming you want to find the right part the first time.0 -
rubber mounts
are you talking about the spilt rubber mounts under the 3 screws that hold the motor to the side of the blower housing an if you are they are probably still ok but to get new ones you will have to buy a new belly band motor mount kit0 -
They turned out
to be OK. I removed the motor, split the fan and pressure washed the squirrel cage. Discovered in the process that the motor is a recent addition - a GE, with oil ports. The rubber mounts were still pliable, but one was a bit too soft from oil spillage long ago. I repositioned it to a different location and all is now well oiled, quieter and clean. Thanks to all for the comments!0
