If this is for a hot water system, the existing boiler's specs are of little value. Do a heat loss calc for your application and size the new boiler (net I=B=R rating) accordingly. If this happens to be for an old gravity conversion, add another 35% to boiler capacity to cover larger pick up load.

If you already know this (or this is for a steam system), never mind...

    Boiler Specs

    Where can we I get specs on an old American Standard residential boiler. (Kainer Governor Standard Model C-3.) type 2-GA, size 2GA7. Looking for an energy eff. replacement.
