Lochnivar/electrolysis couplings

The proper name is dielectric couplers. We use them a lot. They are specified for many jobs, so we don't have a choice. As long as they are assembled properly, they will last. They prevent deterioration by electroysis of dissimilar metals.

Lochinvar insulating couplings
The current job I am on, and almost done with requires Lochnivar "V" line couplings to be used where we change from black iron pipe to copper to help stop electrolysis. Has anybody used these before, and how did they work for you? They seem to be doing fine so far on the HW and CHW applications. Thanks in advance for your feedback.0 -
