Wirsbo Quick Trak pricing

It obviously depends on how much layout and cutting is required to install the stuff. I figure about 600 sq feet a day, installed with the tubing in place and tested( 2 men) We use pneumatic staplers to install and a chop saw with 80 tooth blade to cut. You get faster as you get more experience and large open rooms are easier than small odd shaped ones. Best you can do is do one and consider any loss on labor as training. It's how we all learned.

    Wirsbo Quik Trak pricing

I need to quote some pricing for a remodel job were doing. Never have installed Quik Trak before. Any body out there abel to give me an idea on how long it takes to lay down a 7X48 inch square of this product? Were looking at doing approx 3000 square feet on top of existing plywood sub floor. Any install tips etc?
    Thanks in advance BHT

I personnally average about 37.5 sq ft an hour. That is for a complicated house with alot of custom angles. I am pretty experienced though so you may add a few extra bucks if you haven't done one before. My tips are to read the wirsbo literature to very precisly.

    Ditto

we do 600-900SF day for 2 men, and also use a 1/4" crown pneumatic stapler with 18-20 staples per panel.

We have the GC do the "filler pieces" to save some $$.

Ditto Ditto... I forgot to mention that my 37.5 sq ft per hour is 1 man. Which actually works out to the same as everyone else. 600/Day 2 guys. I too have the GC put in the filler. I also only put 4 screws per panel and the GC does the rest. Then I come in and put down the tube..
