Is only as good as the tech installing it. I'd rather have a mediocre unit installed correctly than a top of the line piece put in by a low bid dude.

    how is a goodman condensing unit rated in the
    market of all the different types of condensers?
    is there any type better?

    I actually think Goodman is doing much better than in the past. They have recently redesigned HVAC products and I am happy. Top lines like Carrier Lennox York Etc... are top rated and they are good to with a proven track rating. Bottom line I have no problems with Goodman. Don't forget that everyone has their opinions.

    Well said Mike T. Nothing wrong with a Goodman,it's a "contractor' unit".
