After the home owners abate the nasty white stuff that old monster will be in the scrap yard and i plan to clean up the gun and donate it to a local training class for fun and knowledge. Young newbees need to see the roots we have worked with.
OH forgot to add the unit bounces off limit from the duct sizes sure wish I could find more of the jobs this guy did lots of money to be made!!

What were they thinking?
My Customer complained about high energy bills and poor heat. The Basement revealed an old coal/oil/now gas conversion.
The question" Can you fix it?"
the answer "YES" But I needed to scratch my head first!
100,000 input with an 8X22 and a return choked down to 16X20
Plan to move the old out and put the new one in it's place.
Hope the chuckle helps brighten some ones day

That's definitely
a "Furnasty"! Bet they left the old one there to avoid an asbestos removal job. Might want to drop a dime on those hacks.
What make of oil burner is that? Looks like a museum piece to me......
