Happy Thanksgiving
Do you have more than one zone?
do you have zone valves?
is the circulator runing?
are all the valves open?
Check these things and get back to us...David0 -
is that 15psi when the system is hot or cold?
15psi cold is fine, but when the temp is up to say 180f you shouold be about 22psi. Anything else you can tell us will help0 -
I don't know Jeff
for two floors 22lbs even hot is kinda high, we usually stay around 18 lbs hot and thats no problem for a two story house.
What we need to know here is what kind of heat emmitters are in this house ? Whats the piping design ?
Is this baseboard ? Mono flow tees ? Can't be CI Radiators because he should be able to bleed them. Sounds liek the second floor needs to be power purged. My first guess is there is air caught some where. Unless of course he's got a bad circulator or zone valve.
