water is dirty...causing water to be carried out in to system. You need a good steam pro in there to resolve. Go to Find a Professional at this site, put in your zip and you will be on your way. Mad Dog

Steam Vents Keep Spitting Water on this Radiator.
Folks:
I have a radiator (I think it is single-pipe) that keeps causing steam vents to fail.
I have replaced 3 vents (each one more expensive than the previous ones) so far, with the same results.
Any idea as to what else I could do? Could the radiator itself be causing the problem?
Frustrated, from a freezing room :

hello
make sure the radiator valve is wide open, if not it will fill with water.0
