very many of them have been sold and installed in the last few years..i like them. saves time ,looks good and saves space. the Bell and Gosset are good also for the versatility, however taco also makes circs with flanges appointed 90 degrees...and i belive they too are into the flange valve lashup ... the isolater is having the purge though and that is a definite plus...

Webstone Isolator Flanges for Pumps
Considering stocking the Webstone Isolator Flanges to use with small Grundfos pumps. Anyone out in the field have experience with these? Good/Bad/Ugly? Hate to sell parts that aren't quality.
Thanks,
Brant Wininger0 -
We use them
Full-port ball valves, small size, nice product!

I like them but I prefer the B&G isolator flanges because you can orient the body to put the handle where you want it and rotate the flanges to put the pump in the correct orientation. That is especially usefull when you change out a pump with one that has the flange 90 degrees from the origional one.

Good chance
that the nice iso with the rotating flange (ala B&G) will be available from Grundfos real soon, threaded and sweat versions
I believe Hammond Valve company also sell that swivel flange version.
I do like all the other Webstone purge valves, tees and etc.

We have sold...
Thousands of Webstones. Can't recall one defective return, maybe a handle missing from a box. Looks, convenience, labor saving etc. It's all about putting money in your pocket and these help.

Been using them for years
Hard to get local supply houses to bring them in at first. Now several stock the flanges. I hear they have a lifetime warranty.

Never had any .........
problems using webstones. Never had a demand for their purge valves but every RFH we sell gets webstones. Most RFH heat jobs are zone-pumped, so that means tons of flanges sitting out. Recently started stocking Hammond isos and more contractors like those more because able to adjust the flange. Both are a plus on RFH. Happy selling.
