Circulator on boiler

I have recently installed an old coal boiler in my garage to heat my house. It is connected to a Burnham boiler in my house basement. The coal boiler has an aquastat, a strap-on aquastat for a dump, and it's own circulator to push water 50' to the house. The Burnham has two circulators on one aquastat. I am bypassing my Burnham with valves, but I need to know how to get all three circulators running from the coal boiler aquastat and from the dumping aquastat. A 5 wire thermostat wire runs out to garage. Aquastat is a Honeywell L8124A,C, pumps are all Taco.

    Circulator

I have a circulator on boiler that feeds a loop that has take offs for zones that have their on pump. It has Taco SR506 control box. Where should the wires from the circulator on boiler run too? I currently have them connected to the auqastat screws. When only one zone is calling for heat the circulator on boiler(main loop) does not run

Without any other information about the system design, I would suggest wiring it to the boiler's control relay. A lot of boilers have a pump relay inside, check your installation manual.

I agree with J. Arthur. The Taco zone box has a end switch that goes to the "T / T" connections on the boiler. Normally, when the end switch on the zone box closes, the boiler relay (possibly the aquastat relay that you mentioned) will start the boiler circulator and fire the burner if needed.

You say when only one zone is calling for heat, the boiler circulator does not run. Is this happening for a specific zone, or any zone when only one zone is calling? If it is a specific zone, perhaps the zone box has a bad connection or relay?! Try one zone at a time for all of the zones. Does the same symptom occur? If you turn on two zones at a time, does the circ run? Try "jumping" the T /T connection on the boiler. Does the boiler circ run, then?

When one zone is calling, does the boiler heat up to the aquastat limit, but the circ doesn't run?

These answers will help diagnose the problem.

THANK YOU I will try this and get back to you. I had it on the boiler box and it would only run if the boiler was on, which let all the zone pumps run and only pump cold (warm) water.A guy locally told me to move the wires up to the taco box on th zz and zr (auqastat screws),it seems to run okay if boiler is on.I just tried other zones doesn't run. seems to only run when the outdoor controller senses the boiler temp water has dropped. I need it to run anytime a zone is calling for heat.Sorry but I am not the smartest at this .

Here is an example of one way to connect.
