it kinda defeats the savings in piping of a one pipe system. If you're gonna use all that pipe make a 2 pipe reverse return set up and save the $ on the monoflow tees

has anybody heard of this???
an 1 1/4 single pipe supply from the boiler feeding the left legs of the b/b's ONLY, through a monoflow tee along the line of b/b's. when it reaches the last b/b's left leg through a monoflow, it loops around then becoming a return picking up those same b/b's now right legs (return) returning the cooled water from the b/b to the boiler. with this method supply circulated water going from 1 b/b to the next IS NOT contaminated with cooled water from the previous b/b. is this possible and if so, efficient?0 -
thankx for responding. how does that 2 pipe reverse work and is it the most efficient of them all ?0 -
2 pipe
the pipe feeding the radiators starts at the boiler and ends at the last radiator. The return starts at the first radiator and ends at the boiler. This way the water travels pretty much the same distance from the boiler through each rad and back to the boiler. And all the rads get the same temp water.0
