Short Cycling and Heat Anticipator

I recently had a Burnham Independence PIN 6 gas steam boiler installed and it is short cycling. I'm told that I should try to adjust the heat anticipator upward (to .8), but I cannot locate it on my Hunter 44100 thermostat. I'm wondering whether anyone knows if it is possible to adjust the anticipator on this thermostat, and if not what thermostat is compatible with (and recommended for) this boiler. Also, if is it possible that the anticipator is not the source of the problem, what might be. Thank you!
