Blank truck

Yes, that would be the snow piles and that picture WAS taken in Dec. a couple years back. (smarta$$!)
David, the body on this van is 10'_2". Ask me how I know that?
The body on the cube van Scott bought 1 year earlier(pictured just in front of mine) was listed at 10', and the pipe tube had to be mounted above the drivers head and into the bubble on the front of the cube.Mine is mounted on the floor of the right side, in a 10' tube, and I'm able to close the door with full 10 footers in it.
1 other note...Mine is equiped with an OUTSIDE lock, as opposed to a built-in the handle one.The older truck has had many problems with the integral lock freezing during cold weather, and coming loose from overuse in the short term. I'VE got A "Marine style" brass, key operated padlock and have only had to throw some lock de-icer at it a few times in 2 years. (Advise you stay away from the key operated ones available, and stick with the uglier, yet more reliable mechanical hinges).
The fiberglass cubes aren't as easy to take care of as a standard steel shell. When they scratch, it's a bugger to get them out...but using something like a boat cleansing rub/restorer is easier than any rubbing compound I've found so far.Rule makes the best one still, but availability is limited.
Good luck Dave. I hope I gave you some good tips. Chris

Got a new truck
Any MFG's out there lookin to put some logos on a big white billboard, have a areostream - unicell chevy 3500 with blank sides, Dan would look good with a heatinghelp.com logo hint hint;).
any good ideas out there????? David0 -
Do they....
Have to glow like the last truck you showed us? (pretty cool advertising 24/7 IMHO!).
Dave, if your suppliers are on good terms already, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that they will be able to get what you want from the manufacturuers. You've still got to come up with something for your company to surround them with....

yea i was thinking about those types of decals but they shrink real bad and crack the letters i had on my old co truck were two yrs old and cracking. i will check with my surplyers but right now im not very happy with them check the hotrod n pah post...thanks chris...David0 -
Check R.D. E-mail0 -
Maybe....
They "crack" for a reason? You should be looking to replace your vehicle after 2 years if you're selling their products, RIGHT ?(just a guess!)
Ask the guy who paints your vans and logos/lettering for some recommendations on applying the decals that they usually send and I'm sure he'll be able to give you either professional tips or helpful advice on how and when to apply them. Lord knows I've seen some vans out there that have tried to remove some sponsorship that they no longer provide but it is still visible through all the efforts put into getting rid of them. Best of luck brother.
BTW, we carry only our name and services and have them put on, by a customers company, after the paint is set. This is in a small town, and the trucks are now unmistakable....Just ask Scott.(when he sees more than 2 of them in one spot....there better be a BIG job going on!) Chris0 -
Something like this ?
Going on our new truck .There was an error rendering this rich post.
