Our house was built in 1892; 3 full floors of living space;
newer boiler (which our contractor says is HUGE size for house) boiler loses water, but that's another problem.
Do we turn down the temp. on the thermostat at night for a steam system? we have a one pipe system.

There's no crying in baseball, but there sure is with steam heat.

Some Like it Hot
If you perfer to sleep in the cool air as I do sure..But I hate to wake up or come home to a cold home(un less its summer) so I have clock thermostat. If I had steam I would read to make sure its compatible with steam heat..0 -
