Any of you ever compiled a quick list for pricing per fitting on job replacement boilers?

I would be intrested in some way to count fittings assign time to cut clean and solder. Then plug in labor to come up with a quick total before mark up.

I have seen flat rate pricing however I would want control over costs.

    Fittings

    When I first started in 1993, my youngest son and my wife would bring the second truck to the Install jobs late in the afternoon. One of their tasks was to count fittings and parts installed. I would then later add everything up and see how much was used in the install. This data was then useful in estimating for the following jobs.
