Am assembling an old American Standard boiler for use as an outdoor wood fired unit. What type of sealant is best to wetseal between the sections and how tight to make the threaded rods that hold it all together? If there are drycracks between the sections after it is assembled, what is appropriate to use to seal those up? Thanks.
