How come?

Is it when you buy a steam boiler with pressuretrols, the range is usually 0-15#? I always end up buying a vaporstat for residential steam. And how come the pressure gauge is usually the same one you'd see for hot water? I've had conversations with reps who thought I was from Mars when I told 'em we need Pressuretrols for low pressure. I know... one size fits all. I think eveyone that sells anything besides used cars should have to read The Lost Art. Best physics book I've ever read! (though The Dancing Wu Li Masters and The Tao of Physics were cool too, just not as immediately applicable)

Because the boiler
has a max rating of 15#. Pop safety is set @ 15#. Why not the pressuretrol? Better buy lots of vaporstats. MH discontinues production of mercury switched pressuretrols & vaporstats 3/31/06.
If you like the PA404, you'll love the new line.
