in THE MAIN WALL
you can flow backwards through the zone to purge at the supply header. Some zone valves and telestat type valves do not allow flow backwards. Also some circs now come with flow checks built in, and only allow flow in one direction.

Why not go with the flow and have the stop and purge cock at the return side?

    Anybody have a diagram for a puge station on the supply header. Iusually install on return .Is supply better.
