Laars Endurance
I have one in my house and it is extremley quiet and I never run out of hot water. I have the unit 2 years and had a minor Lockout issue in the early begining. Laars sent a new board and blower motor and it has been fine ever since. They have redesigned the boiler a bit with new controls. I can't even tell thing is on unless the LED displays the feed temp.
It is also very efficient and heats my house with ease.

Endurance boiler
Used to be called a heat maker back in the day. Old ones had issues with circuit boards, gas settings, relays, and noise. I still have one in my house that I have rebuilt several times. Got it for free from an insurance job 8 years ago. It was new when I got it in. You definitely know when the heat is running. Probably will replace it this year (said that last year though)
The newer ones are set up better. They now use an external heat exchanger for the DHW and the fan is set with the air/fuel so it will adjust it's speed accordingly. MUCH quieter than they're older counterpart. The concentric venting in MHO sucks. The 90's are extremely difficult to get set just right.
We haven't installed one in a couple of years now. Have not heard back from any of the installs (7) that we have done so they must be chuggin away.
I did like the VERY small foot-print that they took up for a boiler that has DHW capabilities built in. I think the max btu output is around 120? They worked well for a solar DHW tie-in. We would just interrupt the flow switch with and aquastat to keep the boiler from firing when the solar storage tank was above our set point.
If you are drawing a lot of hot water make sure that you install a flow restrictor. We use to use 3 GPM. Don't forget the anti-scald valve!
If space is an issue and you don't need 8 gpm of hot water it's not a bad boiler.
Hope this helps.
